My concept for this project was to visualize what my anxiety feels like in social situations. I have struggled with social anxiety my whole life, the main factor for it is the thought of people judging me for something that I am unaware I am doing, or something about me as a person that is being judged. The compilation of eyes is a representation of the feeling like everyone around you is watching every move you make, waiting for you to make a mistake. As I have grown older, it has gotten easier to manage my anxious thoughts; however my anxiety will never fully disappear.
I complied photographs of all of my friends eyes and created this design in Adobe Photoshop. A requirement for this project was to use the CMYK color palette. All of the CMYK layers were placed in the order YMCK. When the design is using the halftone process, more color values will appear with each layer applied.
