For this project, my class and I were prompted to choose from a list of quotes and design five 11x17" posters, each with different requirements. The quote I chose was "People ignore design that ignores people." - Frank Chimero
My concept for these posters was to accommodate for and/or bring awareness to different visual impairments including color blindness, dyslexia, and blindness. This can be represented through the typeface selections, imagery, and even tangible elements like hand-made braille. As designers we need to take everyone into account, so information is relayed in a way that is understandable to all.
The eye-cloud, which makes its appearance in the majority of the series, was originally designed for another project I did for a beginners screen printing class. Check out the project ALL EYES ON ME on my Screen Printing page!
